Ever since she was a little girl, she has loved the world of art, fashion and creativity. She graduated from Arts York at Unionville High School and the Fashion Design and Techniques Program and Fashion Business Industry program of George Brown College. She started sewing at the age of nine after seeing her aunt sew her initials onto her leotards for ballet class. From that day on, her love for working with textile grew. She aims to design pieces that incorporate art and clothes that are far from ordinary. Emily has showcased at Alternative Fashion Week 2012. In 2014, she completed her BA with first class honours in International Fashion Practices at Manchester Metropolitan University.
